Tottenham host Manchester City on Saturday, a team that arrives at Wembley having lost their last three games and conceding eight goals in the process. Despite this, Mauricio Pochettino will no doubt ensure that his squad are mentally and physically ready to take all three points, ensuring the 80,000 plus Spurs fans in attendance are given a glory-glory night under the Wembley lights.
The reverse fixture at the Etihad was one to forget for Spurs, going down to a 4-1 defeat. Despite this, Tottenham have won three of the last five meetings against Manchester City and will be motivated by the prize of Champions League football for a third successive season which could be three points closer come Saturday night.

The Manchester City View
Our thanks to Manchester City fan and Journalist, Adam Wareing (@Adam_Wareing) for providing the following preview.
Despite the disappointing last 10 days, City fans have been enjoying the greatest football they’ve ever seen and our season tickets have been worth every penny.
The club’s spending has proved worthwhile and Pep Guardiola has drastically improved every player who was part of the disappointing campaign last time out.
We’d all have taken the Premier League and League Cup victories when the season started, so we’re excited about the progress our young squad is making.
Everyone was disappointed by our inability to win the league against Manchester United last weekend, but, in the bigger picture, it didn’t really matter.
For City, the game means nothing in terms of league position, but we need to get our momentum back, and Guardiola will be desperate to avoid a career-first four successive defeats.
We’ve looked tired in the second half of our games against United and Liverpool, but have been quick out of the blocks, so Tottenham may need to weather the storm.
I expect the Blues to have most of the ball, but Spurs will be dangerous when they can break into the large spaces City have to defend.
City are the highest scoring team in the division by 15 goals, while Harry Kane is chasing the golden boot, so I don’t see either side keeping a clean sheet.
Score prediction: 2-2
After the euphoria which came with the win at Stamford Bridge, Spurs fought hard to take all three points from a hard-working Stoke City side at the bet365 Stadium.
Harry Kane is another goal closer to catching Mohammed Salah in the race for this season’s golden boot, a personal target which can only help Spurs’ quest for a top four finish. The England striken has been awarded our first goal against Stoke and will do everything he can to claim the prize for the third season running.
An evening kick-off under the Wembley lights provide Tottenham with the perfect platform to cement our place in that top four and give Manchester City another dose of defeat as the league leader stumble their way towards the end of the season.
Pochettino’s men are in great form and will go into this one full of confidence, increased after the win at Stamford Bridge. If Spurs play to their strengths then the team and the capacity Wembley crowd will send City away with a fourth defeat in succession under their belts.
E-Spurs Prediction: Tottenham 3-1 Manchester City
